In summer 2006, T-Systems Slovakia and Technical University in Košice and University of Pavol Jozef Šafárik signed a cooperation contact.

Cooperation between Technical University in Košice and between University of Pavel Jozef Šafárik has started by entering executive chief officer Mr. Jozef Ondas to T-Systems Slovakia. Jozef Ondas is coming from Košice and it is very clear that he is a patriot and supporter of Košice region.

The first cooperation has been officially approved by signing a contract in summer, when the first project (so called Summer UniversITy) that was held in July and August on Technical University in Košice has started. 70 successful candidates finished this special course and more than half of them started to work for T-Systems Slovakia.

At the moment we have a special SAP course, taught by our employees at Technical University in Košice where 20 students are attending. In 2007 we taught this special subject on University of Pavol Jozef Šafárik where 25 students had finished successfully and we believe that after finishing their studies they will join T-Systems Slovakia.

Both Universities are part of IT Valley project that is a major project established in Košice region with cooperation of Košice town and other IT companies in the region.
