TUI Travel is bringing its European locations closer together with unified communications technology, thus improving its business processes and customer service – and cutting costs. T-Systems will build and operate the European network for the London-based travel company. For the next five years, Deutsche Telekom’s corporate customer unit will be responsible for the voice, data and mobile services for most of TUI Travel’s major brands.
With the new integrated network in place, TUI Travel intends to create fresh synergies within the group and lower costs. T-Systems will bring the company’s current networks together on a unified platform. At the same time, the ICT service provider will decrease the number of network providers.
